Raspberry Melon Cooler - Fruit Infused Water Recipe

Looking through the different frozen fruits we have in the freezer, I decided to try something a little different - raspberry combined with honey dew. This combination is a great mix of sweet and tart, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. This one is easy to make, you might even have the ingredients in your refrigerator already.

Raspberry Melon Cooler Infused Water

Recipe:

  • A handful of raspberries
  • A few cubes of honey dew
The quantity you use depends on how flavorful you would like your water to be. I like to leave some room at the top of the fruit infuser basket so that the fruit has room to move around and it lets the water flow through it easier. The photo of the full bottle was taken the day before I drank it, I let it sit in the refrigerator overnight and in the morning it was a beautiful purple pink color as seen in the photo to the right. Raspberries are typically only flavorful for a one time use, especially if you leave it in the refrigerator overnight. If you drink it right away then you can usually refill the bottle again and still get a good flavor from the second batch.
