Mango, Pineapple and Tangelo Infused Water Recipe

Posted by Justin Gallagher on

I think this is one of my favorite fruit infused water recipes! It has a great tropical flavor and is very refreshing. This recipe includes tangelo, a fruit that is a cross between an orange and a tangerine. I found the tangelo at my local supermarket, but feel free to substitute an orange, a tangerine or a little bit of both to get a similar effect if you can't find one.

Mango Pineapple Tangelo Infused Water

Recipe:
  • 2 tangelo wedges
  • 5-9 pineapple cubes
  • 5-7 mango cubes
The amount of pineapple and mango you add should depend on how big your cubes are. I recommend filling the fruit infuser basket close to the top, but not all the way to allow water to wash over the fruit. I used fresh tangelo and frozen pineapple and mango. All fresh fruit will work great as well. If you drink it right away the flavor comes into the water pretty fast, and then you can reuse the fruit and fill the bottle up again (the same day).
