About Us
InfuseZen is a women-owned and family-operated business that began with a love for authentic peshtemal Turkish towels, and a desire to find them in unique, modern designs.
Prior to starting the company, we could only find Turkish towels in traditional stripe or diamond patterns. There were some peshtemal-style towels with modern or interesting designs, but they were all produced in other countries and not made from Turkish cotton.
Our only option was to partner with a loomer in Turkey who could help make our vision come to life — creating the durable, lightweight and eco-friendly peshtemal towels we love with fresh & modern designs that we know you’ll love, too!
Why Turkish Cotton?
Turkish cotton is known for being absorbent, sustainable, and durable because, unlike any other cotton in the world, it grows in long hair fibers that are woven together tightly.
Even the most expensive towels on the market, made from standard cotton and cotton-blends, need to be replaced every few years because they fall apart with regular use and often start to retain stale, unpleasant odors.
Turkish cotton towels are lightweight and space-saving, making them easy to pack or throw into the car for an impromptu adventure! Because of their tightly woven construction, they don’t pick up dust, sand, or moisture the way a fluffy towel does, and they dry ultra-fast so there’s no musty or moldy odors left behind.
Instead of falling apart with every wash, Turkish cotton becomes softer and MORE absorbent with every wash! Their durability and long-lasting quality makes our towels and blankets more sustainable and a much better value overall.
Our Turkish cotton towels and the majority of our blankets are made from 100% Turkish cotton, and all of our products are OEKO and SMETA certified, ensuring they are eco-friendly and produced ethically.
